CSI El Jadida: Moroccan hat-trick which ends with a New Zealand victory!

Second day of competition of the Morocco Royal Tour of El Jadida with two Moroccan victories in the CSI1* this morning, thanks to Farid Amanzar and Badr Khiati, followed by a women’s victory in the CSI4*W with Leina Benkhraba and the major class won by Tom Tarver – Priebe the New Zealand rider.

The kick-off in El Jadida of the competitions counting for the Longines FEI world ranking, a course at scale A on the clock, the course manager of the stage, the Swiss Gérard Lachat, had concocted a technical and delicate course. But it didn’t matter for New Zealander Tom Tarver-Priebe who today recorded his first victory on the Morocco Royal Tour 2023. With this same horse, Fiber Fresh Popeye, a 13-year-old gray gelding born in New Zealand, Tom Tarver -Priebe (38 years old) participated in his first Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021. Last week, he placed eighth in the Rabat Grand Prix and he recorded his fifth international victory on Friday in El Jadida.
