The Italian rider, Roberto Turchetto wins the Grand Prix His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in El Jadida.

Sunday, Roberto Turchetto riding “Baron” won the Grand Prix His Majesty King Mohammed VI, during the Salon du Cheval in El Jadida. This competition was organized as part of the third and final leg of the 10th edition of the Morocco Royal Tour. The Italian won the Grand Prix in two rounds, completing a clear course in 36sec 98 / 100th in this event which saw the participation of 49 riders representing 14 countries. The second place goes to his compatriot, Natale Chiaudani riding “Chopard” who achieved a clear round with a time of 37sec 30 / 100th, while the Swiss Elian Baumann, riding “Campari Z”, took third position, by finishing the round in 40sec 21/100. The Austrian Eder Stefan, riding “DR Scarpo”, finished in fourth position thanks to a time of 37sec and four penalty points, followed by New Zealander Bruce Goodin, fifth, following of a course in 37sec 39/100 on the horse “Backatorps Danny”, with four penalty points.
The award ceremony was marked by the presence in particular of he Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Aziz Akhannouch, the president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE ), Cherif Moulay Abdallah Alaoui.
This 10th edition saw the participation of 108 riders and 215 riders representing 19 countries, including Belgium, Italy, Saudi Arabia, France and Great Britain, in addition to Morocco, the host country.
Morocco was represented by several riders of this discipline, including Abdelkebir Ouaddar, the only Moroccan rider to have won a 5 * Grand Prix, as well as the young Samy Colman, who sounded the Moroccan anthem at the very prestigious CSIO5 * U25 de La Baule in 2017. This competition was also marked by the participation of Ali Al Ahrach, Leina Benkhraba, Abdeslam Bennani Smires, Col. Zacaria Boubouh, El Ghali Boukaa, Majid Djaidi, Amine Sajid, Hicham Er Radi, Idriss Taoui and Zacaria Bourguignon.
